Incredible Antique Folk Art Woven Sewing Basket. Basket is made with maple wooden base with 20 oak spindles woven together in eye-appealing multiple colors. Lid to basket has a 2 7/8” diameter centered maple wooden medallion with woven knob handle and 21 spindles woven together in multiple colors. An outstanding piece of folk art with fantastic color, surface and patina. Please take time to look at photos. Photos are worth a thousand words. Ca. 1930’s.
