An early doorstop of the well-loved Beagle dog cast in the round Antique Doorstop. Carefully blended colors with fully aged patina and surface. Embossed collar with incised lines and buckle. Showing exceptional presence to the discerning eye. Further adding interest and appeal, it is actually The Doorstop Book example. Reference: The Doorstop Book page 124. Early casting, circa 1900-1910. Excellent condition – original paint. 7 ¾” tall x 6 ¾” wide.
