Antique Red Headed Woodpecker Cast Iron Hubley Doorknocker.
Absolutely one of the best woodpecker doorknockers
that we have ever owned. The designer, artist has
captured the realistic form and color of this red headed
woodpecker with the back plate to simulate the side of
a tree, showing great detail to the bark.
Made by Hubley and numbered “251”.
Ca. 1930’s.
Near mint condition with original paint.
3 5/8” tall x 2 ¾” wide.
