Ann Hathaway’s Cottage cast iron Antique Doorstop. Cottage depicts three chimneys, thatched roof and abundance of brightly colored flower gardens. This doorstop is a replica of the cottage where the wife of William Shakespeare lived as a child. Reference: The Doorstop Book page 236. A two piece casting. Weighs 5 lbs. 2 oz. Made by Hubley, cat. #438. Ca. 1930’s. Very good condition with original paint. 6 ½” tall x 8 3/8” wide.
