Lovely Antique German chalk-ware bird holding an exceptionally detailed hand woven wire basket filled with well preserved dried herbs (cloves). The refined wire basket hangs from the bird’s beak. Just an exquisite piece of Folk Art. An absolute must have for any bird lover. Made in Germany. Ca. 1930’s. Excellent condition with original paint. 3 3/4” tall x 5” long
