Incredible casting of an Antique cast iron Inkwell
depicting a calling Bull Elk and Doe. The top of the
inkwell is embossed with trees and river. Lid of well has
embossed doe and the bull elk is in fantastic sculptured
form. In front of inkwell is a tray for ink pens. Original glass well.
Ca. 1920’s.

Incredible VERY LARGE Match Safe done in nickel over
cast iron. Embossed filigree border surrounds this
match safe. Advertising “Eclipse Stoves”. It has two
large pockets - top reads, “This Holds All The Waste
Fuel From An Eclipse Gas Stove”. Bottom reads –
“This Holds The Only Kindling Required For An
Eclipse Gas Stove”. Center between pockets, “Eclipse”.
Very clever advertising! Striker under bottom pocket.
Numbered “1104”.
Circa 1888.
