The Scotties were supposed to be listening in vain for any extraneous engine sounds after adding Texaco’s crack-proof motor oil to the car’s crankcase. Their main solon was “Get Ready Today for Tomorrow! Drain Summer Oil, Fill with Winter Texaco then Listen”. Made in single and double Scotties. Attributed to the National Sewing Machine Co. of Belvidere, IL. Signed “Texaco Scotty ©”. Note. We have standing Texaco Scotty also up for auction.
