Incredible sculpture formed casting of Bird of Paradise cast iron Doorstop. Depicts Bird on Perch with ruffed crown and sweeping tail feathers. Done in eye-appealing colors that captures the detailed life-like feathering. Beautiful refined casting. Circa 1900-20’s. Excellent condition. Original paint. Rare and Desirable – the only one we know of to date. 9” tall x 5” wide.
