Black Duck Wood Carving By Gerald Robertson

Eye-appealing refined carving depicting a miniature full body Standing Black Duck on natural sculptural piece of driftwood. The duck has glass eyes and is superbly painted with accent paint on feet. Meticulously relief carved tail feathers and positioning of carving placement on driftwood. Signed, “Carved and Painted by Gerald Robertson, Blue Hill, ME”. This carving is an excellent example of his talent & attention to detail. Excellent plus condition. All original paint. Second quarter of the 20th century. Duck – app. 4” tall x app. 6” long.
