Exceptional casting of a Hunting Retriever with Bird in Mouth cast iron Antique Doorstop. Detailed casting showing hair on dog, also feathering of hair on legs. Heavy substantial doorstop weighing 6 lbs. 8 oz. Reference: The Doorstop Book page 122. Numbered on back 105. Ca. 1920’s-30’s. Excellent condition with original paint. 6 ¾” tall at head x 11 ¾” long.
