Exceptional wood carving and painted miniature Waterfowl, Adult Mute Swan by noted carver and Folk Art Artist Robert Moreland, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Outstanding realistic paint with a lot of character and sculptured form. Fantastic detailed carving showing relief wings that are embossed and has glass eyes. Added appeal the swan is hollow carved with shot inside of body. No carver brings out the realistic detail and form that Bob does with his swan carvings. Signed “RM” on underside of base. Excellent condition. 4” tall x 8 ¾” long x 4” wide.
