Antique Country Doctor Cast Iron Doorstop
Depicts full-figure, solid casting Country Doctor carrying Medical Bag. This doorstop was more than likely produced after the Groundbreaking 1948 LIFE magazine photo essay, “Country Doctor”: W. Eugene Smith’s Landmark Photo Essay. Reference: The Doorstop Book page 200. Made by John Wright. Circa 1940’s. Excellent plus condition with original paint. 6 ½” tall x 3 ¼” wide x 2 ½” deep.
