Diorama of an exceptional male Canvas Back Duck in Flight, in its natural setting under glass by Joseph Quinn Whipple (1917-2008), Canton, Ohio. Whipple was a nationally recognized wildlife artist and Sculptor. He is primarily known for his hand-carved wildlife and game birds shadow box creations, as well as acrylic and watercolor paintings, and sculptures. Signed, “JQ Whipple”. CA. 1950’s Excellent condition. 6 1/4” tall x 7 5/8” wide x 1 7/8” thick
