Antique Wineman, Wine Merchant Cast Iron Doorstop.
A full-figure, solid casting Doorstop, depicting a Wineman holding
Bottles of Wine. The Wineman is shown holding an excessive
amount of wine bottles – in left hand red wine and right
hand white wine. Looks to be at his wits end with dropped
shoulders and standing pigeon toed. A fun and great
conversation piece for the wine connoisseur or doorstop collector.
Very DESIRABLE and difficult find.

Eye-appealing depiction of this Running Wire Haired
Fox Terrier Antique Doorstop. Spencer is one of my favorite
foundries, they seem to always be able to capture the best in
every cast iron casting that they produce. Without a doubt this
doorstop captures everything from form, detail, character, action
and paint. A superb refined detailed casting. Has the signature
Spencer step wedge and red collar.
