by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity,
gladness and hope. The Eagle sits with wings open and
the letters F. O. E. embossed across it’s chest.

A celebration of the 100th anniversary of Texas’s independence
from Mexico in 1936, it also celebrated Texas and Western
American culture.
