Wonderful children’s mini Sand Pail with great
litho graphics and bold colors. Graphics included white
picked fence; little girl; geese and tree.
Made by and signed “(c) Ohio Art Co., Bryan, O.”, also
artist signed “Fern Bisel Peat”. Ca. 1930’s.
Fern Bisel Peat (1893–1971) was a prolific American illustrator who designed charming, colorful, and highly collectible tin litho sand pails for the Ohio Art Company during the 1930s, often featuring themes like teddy bears, children, and whimsical animals.
Excellent condition w/ normal wear consistent w/ age.
