Offering for sale an original painting by Folk Artist
Warren Kimble, depicting a Fat Cat sitting in the snow
beside a decorated Christmas Tree. Painted on a board
with gold striping outlining the painting with a stippled painted
background. Frame is hand grain painted. A fun folk art painting,
signed by “© Warren Kimble, 05” on bottom right corner.
Warren Kimble, considered America’s foremost folk artist is
based in Branden, Vermont (1935 to present).
For three years, beginning in 2008, Kimble’s iconic folk art
originals from flags to farm houses, barns and animals
were exhibited at Shelburne Museum.
Dated 05 (2005).
Excellent plus condition.
