Diorama of an exceptional Male Wood Thrush in its natural setting under convex glass by Arthur Peltier (1907-1982), West Warwick, Rhode Island. Peltier was well known in the mid-third Quarter of the 20th Century for his variety of birds and animal carvings, most presented in diorama format. Signed A. Peltier. Ca. 1950’s. Excellent condition, glare on glass from camera flash. 7” square x 1 ¼” deep.
