Dolly Dimples, also referred to as Dolly Dingle, appeared for the first time in March 1913 as a series of paper dolls and was a regular feature until April 1933. Crescent Moon and a Longhorn. Made for The Texas
Centennial Exposition, a world’s fair presented from
June 6 to November 19, 1936, at Fair Park, Dallas, Texas.
A celebration of the 100th anniversary of Texas’s independence
from Mexico in 1936, it also celebrated Texas and Western
American culture.

scene of one Tom or Gobbler and two Hens on a log with rocks

they had been produced by Bradley and Hubbard with
