Wonderful picturesque casting of an Elk standing on Rocks cast iron Antique Doorstop. Elk has phenomenal presence having a full rack looking back over his shoulder. Realistic carefully blended colors and fully aged patina and surface. Reference: The Doorstop Book page 174. BOOK EXAMPLE!! Made by Albany Foundry and numbered 50. Ca. 1920’s. Excellent condition with original paint. 9 7/8” tall x 8 5/8” wide.
