Antique Dolly Dimples Iron Hubley Doorstop
Wonderful charming Dolly Dimples cast iron Antique Doorstop. Dolly Dimples, also referred to as Dolly Dingle, appeared for the first time in March 1913 as a series of paper dolls and was a regular feature until April 1933. This doorstop depicts Dolly, with a big blue ribbon in her hair, holding her rag doll. Reference: The Doorstop Book page 197. Designer is Grace G. Drayton. Made by & signed Hubley, catalog number 45. Ca. 1930’s. Excellent condition with original paint. 9 5/8” tall x 5 ½” wide.
