Unusual form depicting deer walking with bent knee.

Child's Sled w/ Sailboat |
The BEST of the BEST!
Antique Child's sled, ca. 1890. Measures 6" tall x 31" long x 10 3/4" wide.
The board measures 23 1/2" long x 7" wide. The wood is poplar with incredible
painting of Sailboat on Water. The sled board has pin striping lines top and
bottom, leaves outline the sailboat and water top and bottom. Unusual bracket castings form clip to hold sled board, no nails or screws. Superb surface and paint. The paint has a really nice mellow coloring. Untouched original condition.

Antique cast iron hitching post. Second half
of nineteenth century. Cast in the round. The
horse head has well-defined ears, nose, mouth,
mane, and bridle. Circular base with a strut support
from chin to neck. Unusual that ears are together.
Professional made painted base with scallops.
Measures 11 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" diameter.
